In Kiosk mode, Internet Explorer (IE) Web browser does not display the customary toolbar, title bar, or status bar. In other words, IE in Kiosk Mode allows you to only view web pages. There will be no web-based toolbar at the top that you can click. Kiosk mode is typically used for public computers where users clicking random links and buttons on the Internet Explorer browser could pose a security threat or could affect the performance of a computer.

Click the Start menu and select "Run..."
Type (without the quotes) "iexplore -k page" where "page" is the URL of the web page that will display at start-up.
Press the "Enter" key. This will start Internet Explorer running in Kiosk Mode.
