If you want to make your PC speakers louder, you can adjust the audio settings on your computer to increase the volume. All PCs running Windows have audio settings in the control panel and the default settings for volume are usually set somewhat low. Be aware that your speakers may clip at a higher input volume from your computer. If you hear scratching or skipping sounds in your speakers after adjusting the audio settings, your speakers cannot handle the higher volume.

Click on the "Start" menu at the bottom left of your screen.

Open the "Control Panel" menu from the Start menu.

Click "Sounds and Audio Devices" from the Control Panel. Under the "Volume" tab you will see a slider under "Device Volume."

Slide the slider farther to the right. The further right you slide it, the louder the sound coming out of your speakers will be.

Adjust the "Speaker Settings" under the Volume tab. Here you can click on "Speaker Volume" and adjust the volume of individual speakers to make them louder. Slide the slider to the right, as before, to make the speakers louder.
