Whether it's due to lack of space elsewhere or because it makes looking up recipes easier, it's quite possible to do. Instructions

  1. 1

Place a file drawer system inside the drawer. This system will feature metal rails that go inside the side of the drawer. The rails will be connected to slides, that hanging file folder can be put onto.

  2. 2

Place the file system into the drawer. The file system will have silver slats that are connected. Position the file system so that the silver slats line the two sides of the drawer. Most file systems are balanced on stilts so that mounting isn't necessary. A file drawer system can be found at most office supply stores.

  3. 3

Place several hanging folders inside the drawer. Hang them up so that they balance on your file drawer system's slides.

  4. 4

Organise any documents you might have into the file folders.
