How to Transfer a DVD to USB

A DVD is a fairly reliable storage medium, but one that is capable of suffering degeneration in file capability through accumulated scratches on the surface of the disc. Resolve this issue and protect your data by transferring a copy of the information contained on the DVD to a USB drive. This procedure generally takes no longer than five minutes.

Insert the DVD and USB drive into the computer.

Click "Start" and click "Computer."

Double click the DVD drive.

Highlight all files. Right click and select "Copy."

Click on the USB drive, right click, and select "Paste."
