Norton 360 is a powerful Windows firewall that runs on the popular Norton Antivirus system from Symnatec. With relative ease, you can set your firewall to block certain websites, or set up filters to keep children from viewing certain types of content. With the capacity to create user profiles, Norton 360 allows you to view your favourite sites, while keeping impressionable young minds from viewing content you deem inappropriate.

    Download the latest Norton Add-on Pack from the Symnatec website (see Resources).

    Start Norton 360.

    Select "Settings".

    Select "Norton Add-on Pack".

    Enter your password and click "OK". If you have not set up a password, Norton will prompt you to select and confirm one before moving on.

    Select the user account of the profile you want to change.

    Click "Advanced Settings".

    Click "Blocked Sites List".

    Click "Add" to enter a new site to block.

    Type the URL (web address) of the site you wish to block.

    Click "OK".

    Click "OK" again.

    Click "Apply" and "Done".
