If you want to reset your Sony Cyber-shot Camera, there is a way to do so and restore the factory settings. This can be done as a troubleshooting method, or if you want to sell or give the camera to someone else. It will be exactly as it was the day it came out of the box, with all pictures and settings deleted. Be sure that you back up all your pictures before resetting the camera so you don't lose anything. You will also have to reprogram the time and any other settings. This process is the same for all Sony digital cameras.
