Speak with Lord Arphaun to receive this quest. Arphaun is located inside Monument Station in Act 4. You will be told to travel to the Tower of London and meet up with Lieutenant Gray.
Follow the station path to the portal that will take you to Lower Thames and then follow the path that leads to the Tower Gateway. The portal that will take you to the Tower of London is at the end of this area.
Talk to Lieutenant Gray. Gray and some soldiers will be waiting for you where you come out of the portal. They'll tell you that you need to use the turrets that are in the zone around the Beast of Abaddon in order to bring it down.
Make your way to one of the turrets and activate it when the creature draws near. If done correctly, the turret will shoot out a glowing chain that attaches to the beast.
Run to another turret and activate it while the glowing chain from your first turret is still connected to the beast. If you connect two glowing chains from the turrets to the beast, it will shrink down in size and become vulnerable to attack.
Attack the beast while it is smaller. You'll need to quickly kill or avoid the creatures that the beast spawns so that you reach it and do some damage before it grows back to its normal size. Continue to double-chain and attack the beast until it is defeated.
Return to Lord Arphaun after the beast is dead. Speak to Lord Arphaun and the quest will register as completed.
Tips and warnings
- Your quest log will sometimes fail to register the quest as complete after you defeat the beast. If this happens, drop the mission from your quest log and then talk to Lieutenant Gray to re-initiate it.
