How to Download Clip Art to Microsoft Works

A large Clip Art gallery on your Microsoft Works program can be a valuable asset, whether you are composing a lengthy business proposal or just a basic office notice. Clip Art spruces up dull-looking memos and helps them grab and hold a person's attention. The Works program comes with a Clip Art gallery, but you can download more images from Microsoft's website.

    Enter the following URL into your browser: microsoft.com/products/works/downloads.mspx.

    Scroll down the page to the bolded text section that reads, "Works 2000/Works Suite 2000 - Clip Gallery Update."

    Click on the grey hyperlink below the paragraph. You'll be taken to a new window.

    Locate the small, grey button that says "Download," and click it. You'll be taken to another screen.

    Click on the blue, boldface hyperlink that reads, "Start download." You'll be prompted with a pop-up window that asks if you want to save the file. Click "Save File" and wait for the download to complete.

    Wait for the Clip Art to download completely, then locate it on your computer. Open the file and follow the prompts.
