Coconut liners an environmentally friendly liners used to pad the insides of wire and open cut planting hangers and baskets. Manufacturers of this product weave the coconut husks into liners. Round, square and rectangular coconut liners are easy to find at gardening stores. Since the liner is naturally resistant to bugs, fungi and bacteria, it is a good choice for a planter. Use coconut liners in antique wire hanging baskets or in floor stand planters. They will look lovely inside or outside.

  • Scissors
  • Pot
  • Potting soil

    Place the coconut liner inside the planter to measure it for size.

    Cut away any excess liner that may be hanging over the sides. Use sharp scissors to make the cuts.
