Your diploma is a precious keepsake, meant to be treasured forever as a symbol of your accomplishment. A wrinkle or crease in the paper can be heartbreaking, but it doesn't have to last forever. With quick and careful action, wrinkles and creases can be removed from the paper, leaving your diploma as spotless and pristine as the day you received it.

Plug in a household iron and set it to medium heat. Make sure the steam setting is turned to "Off."
Lay a thick towel on a smooth, flat surface to protect the surface from heat. Lay a sheet of parchment paper larger than the diploma on the towel.
Smooth out the diploma as much as possible and place it on top of the parchment paper.
Dampen a clean cloth with water and pat the wrinkled or creased areas of the diploma with the cloth. Make the diploma slightly damp, not saturated.
Place a second sheet of parchment paper on top of the diploma.
Iron the diploma carefully, concentrating on the areas that are wrinkled. Slowly move the iron over the diploma, taking care not to leave the iron in one place.
Remove the diploma from between the sheets of parchment paper and lay it flat until it cools.
