How to Delete Mbamext Dll

Mbamext.dll is a dynamic link library (DLL). DLLs are libraries that contains code or data that can be used by multiple programs at the same time. The mbamext.dll is used by Malwarebytes, a malware removal software program. Specifically, the mbamext.dll helps display the Malwarebytes context menu. Consequently, removing mbamext.dll will prevent Malwarebytes software from operating properly on your computer. Nevertheless, mbamext.dll can be removed if you decide to do so.

Click the "Windows Start Menu" and type "cmd" into the "Search Programs and Files" box and press "Enter." The Command Prompt opens.

Type "regsvr32 /u mbamext.dll" (without the quotation marks) into the Command Prompt and press "Enter."

Close the Command Prompt and restart your computer.

Click the "Windows Start Menu" and click "Run." The Run box opens.

Type "cmd" (without the quotation marks) into the Run box and click "OK." The Command Prompt opens.

Type "regsvr32 /u mbamext.dll" (without the quotation marks) into the Command Prompt and press "Enter."

Close the Command Prompt and restart your computer.
