TRP files are raw high definition data files that are typically used by DVD burning applications. These programs burn the data to a DVD disc for watching in a stand-alone player. To play TRP files, you will need to download VLC Media Player, which is the only software specifically designed to play these types of files in their native format.

Download and install VLC Media Player.

Launch VLC Media Player.

Click "Open" from the "File" menu and select the TRP file. Click "OK" (or "Open" for Mac users) to play the file.

Tips

  • VLC Media Player is a cross-platform application with Windows, OS X and Linux versions available.
