If you have backups of, or home brew, Sega Saturn games (ROMs) on your computer then they are likely stored in the ISO image format. ISO images are types of disc images that when burnt recreate the original disc's files and structure. If you have an ISO on your computer of a Sega Saturn game then you will need to burn a CD from that ISO image. Using inbuilt features you can burn ISO images to disc using the basic Windows "Burn Disc Image" utility.
- Skill level:
Insert a blank CD into your disc burner and wait for Windows to recognise that a blank disc has been inserted.
Click "Cancel," when the dialogue opens asking what you want to do with the blank CD.
Locate the Sega Saturn ROM on your computer.
Right-click the ROM and click "Burn disc image." This will load "Windows Disc Image Burner."
Click "Verify disc after burning," and then click "Burn." Your Sega Saturn ROM will now be burnt to disc.
