Instructions

  1. 1

Check the power cable if the ESP7 will not power on. Make sure the power cable is plugged into the printer. If using a power strip, be sure the power strip is turned on.

  2. 2

Check the cables if a connected device cannot be read. Make sure attached cameras are turned on and that corrupt pictures on SD cards are removed and the card reformatted.

  3. 3

Re-seat the print cartridges if colours are missing from pages and the printheads are relatively new. Lift the printer access door and press the printhead release button. Remove both print cartridges and reinsert them firmly.

  4. 4

Remove the paper from the tray and turn off the printer if there is a paper jam. Open the rear access door and pull out any jammed paper, being sure not to rip the paper and leave remnants inside.

  5. 5

Perform a nozzle check and printhead alignment if the print quality is poor and the print cartridges are relatively new. Select "Menu" from the printer's control panel, press the "down arrow" and select "Maintenance." Choose your maintenance option and then "OK" to begin the maintenance function.
