Join up with a friend in "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" and play cooperatively in Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy or Headquarters modes, or just blow each other up in an adversarial game. While the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game allow you to join friends automatically using embedded Xbox Live and PlayStation Network functionality, the PC version offers no such feature. While PC gamers can coordinate and join the same servers, they have no other default methods of connecting to friends. Third-party software such as GameRanger and Steam allow you to connect more easily and create custom games with your friends.
