How to Recover an Eee PC
ASUS Eee PCs are equipped with a recovery utility program. (netbook image by mattmatt73 from Fotolia.com)

Your Eee PC can be restored using either the hidden partition utility or a recovery DVD. Since Eee PC netbooks are devoid of an internal optical drive, restoring your system with the hard drive's recovery utility program is the more convenient option. When utilising the hidden partition, it is not necessary to attach an external optical drive, and the recovery process is faster than the DVD option.
