ARF is the proprietary recording format used by WebEx to record presentations through the website. You can save presentations in the ARF format, however you are unable to edit those presentations in the ARF format. Converting the presentation to the windows media video (WMV) format allows you to edit the presentation in any of a number of third-party video editing programs. There are third-party programs for this conversion, but the free WebEx Player can also do the job.
