Disabling then re-enabling network adaptors is a common method to troubleshoot misbehaving Internet or local network connections. If you or someone else has been tinkering with the computer's network connection settings, the Ethernet adaptor may have been left disabled. The Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller is enabled the same way as other Ethernet adaptors. For whatever reason your Marvell Ethernet controller was disabled, you'll have to re-enable it using Windows' Control Panels before it can be used again.

Open the "Start" menu and click "Control Panel."
Type "adapter" into the text box in the top right-hand corner of the window.
Click the "View network connections" link in the "Network and Sharing Center" section.
Right click on the "Local Area Connection" icon that reads "Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller" underneath it.
Select "Enable" from the pop-up menu. Your Marvell Ethernet controller is now enabled.
