Disabling then re-enabling network adaptors is a common method to troubleshoot misbehaving Internet or local network connections. If you or someone else has been tinkering with the computer's network connection settings, the Ethernet adaptor may have been left disabled. The Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller is enabled the same way as other Ethernet adaptors. For whatever reason your Marvell Ethernet controller was disabled, you'll have to re-enable it using Windows' Control Panels before it can be used again.
