Having the correct time displayed on your Avaya 4610 IP office telephone is important. The individual user cannot change the time displayed on the set. The Avaya Communications Manager server sends the time information to each phone set. To adjust the time showing on Avaya phone displays, a System Administrator must make the changes through the Avaya web interface. Some systems use an NTP or Network Time Protocol server to keep accurate time displaying eliminating the need for manual adjustments.
