BIOS stands for Basic Input/Output System. The BIOS on a Toshiba computer is very easy to access. One of the best ways to secure a computer's contents is to set a password on the BIOS. Every time the computer is started, the BIOS password has to be entered in order for the computer to be booted. If you're tired of inputting the BIOS password every time your turn your computer on, you can remove the password from the system.

    Turn your computer on and wait for the memory check to come on the screen.

    Press the "Del" key when you are prompted to enter the BIOS set-up.

    Enter the password to get into the Toshiba BIOS.

    Use the arrow keys to scroll over to the "Security" tab and scroll down to the "Set Supervisor Password".

    Press the "F9" key to set the BIOS password to the default. The default is no password on the system.

    Press the "F10" key to save and exit the program. Wait for your computer to restart.
