How to Set Up Voice Mail for an AT&T LG Phone

    Press and hold the "1" key or the voice mail access key. Some LG phones have the voice mail number programmed into the phone.

    Enter the voice mail password. If doing this for the first time, enter the seven-digit wireless number without the area code.

    Select "4" for personal options. Select option "2" for administrative options, then option "1" to change password. Use a four-digit number that is easy to remember.

    Press the "#" key to go to previous menu. Select option "3" to change greeting, and then option "1" to record personal busy/no answer greeting, option "2" to record extended absence greeting, or select "3" to record name.

    Dial wireless number. Wait for greeting then press the star key (*).

    Enter the voice mail password. Password may be the seven-digit wireless number without the area code.
