How to Create an Adobe ID
An Adobe ID gives you membership privileges at Adobe.com. (computer image by martini from Fotolia.com)

An Adobe ID and a linked password allows you to access membership benefits on Adobe.com, the creator of software products such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver. With an Adobe ID you can download free software trials, get free product extensions, access the Adobe community, obtain white papers, take part in seminars and manage your activity in the Adobe Worldwide Store. An Adobe ID is usually your e-mail address and you can create one for free through the Adobe website.
