ParetoLogic is a maker of both free and commercial PC utilities such as PC Health Advisor, which helps improve the performance of a computer by scanning for unnecessary files that are safe to delete and defragmenting the hard drive and helps prevent malicious software from infecting the computer. If you have PC Health Advisor or another ParetoLogic product installed on your computer but have decided that you prefer another product that performs a similar function, you can remove the ParetoLogic product from your computer to reclaim hard drive space and avoid a potential software conflict.

Click the "Start" button or circular Windows logo at the bottom of the desktop, and select "Control Panel" from the menu that appears.

Select "Uninstall a Program" if you are running Windows 7 or Windows Vista and the control panel icons appear in the standard category-based view. If you have configured the control panel to display the classic item-based view, select "Programs and Features." If you are running Windows XP, select the "Add or Remove Programs" icon.

Select "ParetoLogic PC Health Advisor" on the list of installed programs. If you have a different ParetoLogic product installed or want to remove a different product, select that item on the list instead.

Click the "Uninstall" button if you are running Windows 7 or Windows Vista or the "Change/Remove" button if you are running Windows XP.

Click the "Uninstall" button in the window that appears, asking if you would like to read about an opportunity to receive ParetoLogic software for free. The uninstall utility will begin removing PC Health Advisor or the selected ParetoLogic product from the computer.

Click the "Close" button when the ParetoLogic software is finished being removed, and then close any windows remaining open to return to the desktop.
