The HP Pavillion DV9000 is a laptop computer developed by HP for personal use. In some situations, computer users may find that their laptop is no longer suitable for use, and may wish to restore their laptop to the factory settings. In order to help you do this, the developers at HP have built their laptops with a "recovery mode" that can be accessed during the boot process. If you wish to do this with your own HP laptop, the process is simple.
