For anyone who has seen the "Star Wars" movies, the lightsaber is the ultimate in geeky weaponry. A fusion of the ancient and the futuristic, this weapon has fuelled the imaginations of fans for a generation. There are a number of lightsaber toys on the market, but one kit from Force FX allows you to fully customise a lightsaber to your wishes. It also includes full light and sound effects.

Things you need

  • Force FX Lightsaber Construction Set
  • Three AAA batteries

Instructions

  1. 1

    Insert batteries into the main core of the lightsaber.

  2. 2

    Select the blade colour using the selector switch located on the side of the core.

  3. 3

    Customise the lightsaber by selecting a pommel, handle, centre band, front body and emitter; all of which slide onto the core (except for the pommel, which screws onto the end).

  4. 4

    Power up your lightsaber and defend the galaxy!
