Thus, ISO images are often used for cloning or backing up media or data CD/DVD. The Nero 8 software directly supports the ISO format and allows you to easily burn an image on a recordable disc.

    Double-click on the Desktop icon for "Nero 8 Essentials" to open the program.

    Click on the red flame icon in the left corner of the Nero window; then choose "Nero Express Essentials" from the list.

    Click on the "Disk Image" option to bring up the file browse window.

    Find the ISO image file on your computer; then double-click on the file.

    Put a blank CD or DVD disc into the CD/DVD burner on your computer.
