The Kenwood KDC-3024 is an AM/FM stereo deck with built-in CD player. The unit is equipped with a detachable face for security and has the ability to connect with your mobile phone. There are dozens of features and capabilities for the stereo, but the basic functions of the unit are simple. Power control, tuning to your favourite radio station, playing CDs, and setting the clock are all basic functions.

Turn on the Kenwood CD player by pressing the "Source" button (labelled "SRC") on the bottom left corner of the stereo's face. Press and hold the "SRC" button to turn the stereo off.
Change the mode of the CD player by pressing the "SRC" button once the unit is on. You can choose between CD playback, tuner (or radio), an external source (or AUX), and a mode where all of the functions are off with the exception of the display menu. Adjust the volume via the volume up and volume down buttons located on the left side of the stereo's face.
Adjust the sound options by pressing the "Q" button located at the bottom right corner of the stereo's face. Choose between preset audio settings including "Flat," "Rock," "Top 40," Pops" and "Jazz." The loudness option boosts the volume level and can be activated by pressing the "Loud" button located on the bottom left corner of the Kenwood unit's face, to the right of the "SRC" button.
Press the "CLK" button in any mode to display the clock. The "CLK" button is located on the bottom of the stereo's face, to the left of the "Q" button. Press and hold the "CLK" button to set the clock. The hours will begin flashing once the button is held for more than 2 seconds. Use the volume buttons to choose the hour. Press the "CLK" button to select the minutes. Use the volume buttons to select the correct minute. Press the "CLK" button once the proper time is displayed to end the clock setting mode.
Program preset radio frequencies by choosing the tuner mode with the "SRC" button. Tune to the desired frequency using the seek buttons located on the right side of the stereo's face. Press and hold one of the number buttons at the bottom of the unit. The number you select will blink once to signify that the displayed frequency has been preset to that number. Press the number buttons in tuner mode to jump to the preset radio stations.
Press the release button at the upper left corner of the stereo to remove the face. The left side of the stereo will detach from the unit. Pull the left side from the stereo to remove the face for security. Place the right corner into the side of the unit and press the left side firmly to reattach the stereo's face.
