Click on “Tools” from the main menu and select “Folder Options.”

Go to the “View” tab and look for “Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives” under “Advanced Settings.”

Click on the radio button next to it to select it and click “OK” button.

Click on “Edit” from the main menu and select “Find.” You can also do that by pressing “Ctrl” + “F” on the keyboard. This will launch the built-in “Find” utility.

Type what you’re looking for in the “Find” text box. You can type the person’s name, e-mail address or a keyword that you remember from the subject or body of the email.

Click the “Find” button. Wait for the computer to find all e-mail files from your computer that match the search that you have performed. You will get to search all your hidden mail files as well.
