The iBox is a shower rough that fits all standardised showering foundations. With the iBox, you can change shower foundations whenever you see fit without having to install a new rough. In fact, the iBox currently accommodates Hansgrohe, Axor, Thermostatic or Pressure Balance trims. The iBox helps streamline bathroom planning by sporting its inherent versatility. Things you need
- 3/4-inch Nipple
- Soldering supplies
- Tape measure
- Copper pipe connectors
- Allen wrench
Clamp the iBox with the vice, using the 3/4-inch nipple threaded into either outlet. Install the copper pipes onto the iBox. Remove the clamps from the iBox.
Use the level to mount the iBox.
Connect the water supply by soldering the supply pipes with the previously installed fittings.
Turn on the water supply to help flush the valve. This will help the water pass through the pre-installed flush insert.
Use the Allen wrench on the built-in service stop to shut the water off (only after the flushing process).
Cut a hole with a 5-inch diameter in the wall where you want the iBox to reside.
Mount the rubber wall seal using two coats of the adhesive included with the seal.
Install the chosen shower trim.
