It is very seldom that you can recall or retrieve a sent message from your e-mail. However, in a couple of situations, you can retrieve a message if it has not been read by the receiver. In order for this to work if you are using Outlook Express, the person you sent the message to must also be using Outlook for his e-mail. If this is true, and if the person has not yet read the message, you can recall it.

Click on your Sent folder. Find the message you would like to retrieve.
Right-click on the message and choose "Actions." If the message has not been read, you will get a different actions list than if the message has been read. If it has not been read, the action list will include "Recall."
Click "Recall" to recall the message. Click "Delete all unread copies of this message" in order to delete the copy of the message. You must choose both "Recall" and "Delete all unread copies" to ensure that the message is no longer in the receiver's Inbox.
