PPT files are file formats designated for Power Point presentations. At one point, you may be prompted to create password for your PPT file to secure the data and restrict access to the file. However, if you want to bypass entering a password every time you want to view the file, you can easily remove the password from the PPT file.
- Skill level:
Right click the PPT file and select "Properties" from the small menu on the right side of the file.
Go to the "Sharing" tab on the right of the next window.
Scroll down to the box labelled "Make This File Private."
Use your mouse to uncheck the box next to it.
Enter you password into the prompt that appears to clear the security protocol.
Click the "OK" button to clear the password from prompting when you open the file.
