Acer laptops equipped with an S-video port can be connected in seconds to a TV for viewing computer content on the bigger screen. A standard S-video cable connects the two devices. Once hooked up, pressing a key sequence switches the Acer display output from the laptop screen to the connected TV or enables both to be viewed at the same time. These "hotkeys" work in tandem with the Acer's function key to change display output.
