Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing program that you can use hand-in-hand with programs like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and even Adobe Dreamweaver. All of these programs are part of the Adobe Creative Suite. If you have created a document in Adobe InDesign that is much larger than your printer can handle, you can tile the document. This allows your printer to print a section of the page at a time.

Open the file you want to print in Adobe InDesign.

Select "File" and then "Print."

Click "Tile" in the "Setup" section of the print dialogue box.

Choose "Auto" in the "Tile" menu if you want the system to automatically choose the number of tiles required. Choose "Auto Justified" if you want to make sure the right side and the bottom of the tiles are aligned with the far right and far bottom sides of the document page.

Click "OK."
