Lenovo is a maker of ThinkPad notebooks and laptops, some of which come with a fingerprint reader that is used to identify users of the system. Instead of typing identification to get into the system, users swipe their fingerprints. At times, this feature may not make sense to use, especially if you are allowing someone else to use your laptop. This feature is easily disabled.
