How to copy parts of web pages

Knowing how to copy parts of a web page may save you a significant amount of time and effort in researching. Copying parts of a web page is relatively easy. There are a few different ways to copy different parts of a web page. Each method only takes a few seconds. It's important to use the style that works best for you.

"Double-click" your browser and type in the web address of the web page you want to copy.

Place your cursor to the left of the beginning of the text or image you would like to copy. Drag your cursor to the end of the part you would like to copy. "Right-click" and select "copy." Note: This performs the same role as the other steps.

Place your cursor to the left of the beginning of the image or text you would like to copy. Press your "Shift" key once and then hold down your right arrow key until the part of the web page is copied. "Right-click" and select "copy." Note: This performs the same role as the other steps.

"Left-click" to the left of the image or text you would like to copy. Press your "Shift" key once and then "Left-click" at the end of the image or text you would like to copy and press your "Shift" key once again. "Right-click" and select "copy." Note: This performs the same role as the other steps.
