These programs are designed to shrink your files so that they can be e-mailed or stored without taking up much space. As of 2010 these programs cost £19.40 but can be downloaded for a free one month trial.
Launch the file compression application by going to the "Start Menu" and clicking on the program. When it opens, the application will bring up a window.
Drag and drop your video file to the window and choose where you want the compressed file to be saved. The easiest place to save it on your computer's "Desktop." The program will produced a zipped file.
Open your e-mail application and select "Attach File." Find the zipped file and select "Attach." Wait for it to upload, then write your e-mail message and click "Send."
