Sony PS2 DVDs downloaded from BitTorrent are burnt on a PC's DVD burner using a freeware ISO burning application. PlayStation 2 DVDs are downloaded in ISO file format and are single files (usually 4.7 GB each). Burning a PlayStation 2 game from ISO to DVD will take about 15 to 20 minutes.

    Power on the computer and check that the PC's DVD burner is operating normally. Log into your user account and run your web browsing application. Download an ISO burning application and install the program when downloading finishes. Reboot the computer.

    Press "Eject" on the DVD burner and put a writable DVD in the tray. Close the DVD burner and run the ISO burning program. Select "Burn ISO to DVD" and browse for the PS2 ISO file you wish to burn. Select "OK" and provide a name for the DVD (title it according to the PS2 ISO being burnt) and choose a DVD burning speed (choose 1x, 2x, or 4x to prevent damaging hardware errors).

    Select "Burn ISO" and the ISO program will start recording the PS2 game to a disc. Let the disc burn session finish before you eject the disc. The PlayStation 2 can be played immediately once the burning process is complete.

  • Avoid running other system tasks or programs while burning the DVD as they could slow your PC's performance and harm the disc or your DVD burner.
