The Windows Time Service is an application that runs on the Windows Server platform and coordinates computers within a network together so that they all have the same time on their internal clocks. It is automatically installed with the computer's operating system and is not easy to separate from the operating system. If this has happened and you need to install it again, you can do so automatically by running a system file check on the server. During this scan, Windows will discover that the Time Service is missing and install it for you.
