Before the days of instant messaging, text messages and social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook and Twitter, people used to have to actually visit or call one another in order to have a conversation. These days, technology has taken over, and busy lifestyles have forced many to send short, typed messages over cell phones and computers. These written conversations may lack the body language and emotion of a spoken conversation, but you can still spice them up with emoticons. One common emoticon is the angel. When you want to show how sweet and innocent you are, make an angel with your keyboard letters.

Charm people with a cute angel. To make your cute angel, press the number "0," followed by a colon and the end parenthesis. The end result will appear like this: 0:)

Make your angel melt others' hearts by flashing her puppy dog eyes at them. To make this angel, press the number "0," followed by the number "8," a hyphen and the end parenthesis. The end result will appear like this: 08-)

Make people laugh with a silly angel. To make a silly angel, press the number "0," followed by a colon, a hyphen and the lower case "p." The end result will appear like this: 0:-p

Show your sadness with a frowning angel. To make your angel frown, type the number "0," followed by a colon, hyphen and the beginning parenthesis. The end result will appear like this: 0:-(

Put a party hat on your angel to show that she's celebrating. To make a party angel, type the "less than" sign, followed by the number "0," a colon, a hyphen and an upper case D. The end result will appear like this: <0:-D

Flirt with others by having your angel wink at them. To make your angel wink, press the "0" key, followed by a semicolon, hyphen and end parenthesis. The end result will appear like this: 0;-)
