How to Hook Up a DVD Player to Toshiba Regza

The Toshiba Regza is a high definition LCD television that comes in varying sizes. Whether its size, the television has the capability of connecting to many different audio/video devices, including DVD players. The DVD player connection requires a few separate cable connections to ensure you receive the best picture quality from the connected DVD device.

Insert the component cables into the "Component Out" video ports on the back of your DVD player. These cables are made up of a red, green and blue cable connection. Make sure the cables are inserted into the same coloured connection port.

Plug the opposite end of the cables into the "Component In" ports on your Toshiba Regza television.

Connect the red and white RCA audio cables into the "Audio Out" ports on your DVD player. Plug the other ends of the cables into the "Audio In" ports on your Toshiba Regza television.

Power on the DVD player and the Toshiba Regza. Push "Input" on the TV's remote control, then select "Component." The DVD video content is now displayed on the high definition video screen.
