The Sony Alpha 100 is officially known as the Sony DSLR-A100. This camera allows you to customise various settings, such as colour temperature, sharpness, flash mode and exposure compensation. If you wish to reset the camera to its factory settings, you can do so using the Sony's set-up menu. Resetting the settings to the factory default specifications will not clear your data; you do not need to worry about losing any of your pictures.

Press "Menu" to bring up the Sony menu. Press the right arrow until the wrench icon (set-up menu) is highlighted. Press the centre "Enter" button to enter the set-up menu.
Scroll to page "3" using the control arrows. Press "Enter" to enter this menu. Select "Reset Default" and press "Enter." The prompt "Reset Default?" appears.
Press the left arrow button to select "Yes." This resets the Sony A100 to its factory settings.
