Adobe Flash is a program used to create animated website content. It utilises a custom programming language called ActionScript. ActionScript is used to control animations and process user input such as keystrokes. These features allow games to be made that can be placed directly on websites without needing any downloads or installation files. Flash shooter games typically involve a first-person view with moving targets. Players are graded on their shooting performance such as accuracy and will often have weapon upgrades available.
