"Diablo II" is a role-playing game made by Blizzard where you level up your character and get better items. The best swords and armour require a very powerful character to wear them. There are ways around these level restrictions, but most of them involve hacking or editing the game. You can only do this with single-player characters, which means no ladder characters. Once you edit your character, there is no way to revert what you have done. You will be stuck with a hacked character.

  1. 1

Download a hero editor. There are different hero editors made by different individuals, but they all do the same thing. The main difference is the UI and the controls for changing your character's stats.

  2. 2

Open up the hero editor and load your character. You will actually be loading your character's data into the editor itself. You will be able to see your character and all of the information on her.

  3. 3

Click on the "Extra" tab located at the bottom of the hero editor. This is where you can create and alter items.

  4. 4

Create or alter the item you want for your character. You can load an item you already have or create one that you want to give her.

  5. 5

Change the level requirements for the item. This will be located in the stats section of the editor for the item. You can lower it, raise it or get rid of it altogether.

  6. 6

Click "Save" at the bottom of the editor when you are done. There are plenty of other elements of your character that you can edit, so feel free to mess around for a bit before you finish.
