How to Convert .SRT to AVI DivX

In order to play DivX files on your computer, you have to have a specific DivX codec installed on your machine. When you install this DivX codec, a program called "DivX Plus Converter" is installed at the same time. If you want to convert an .SRT file (which is a video subtitles file) and a video file into a single DivX computer AVI video file, you can do so in seconds using DivX Plus Converter.

    Open DivX Plus Converter using its shortcut icon in your computer's "All Programs" menu.

    Click "Add Files." Add the video file you want to convert to the DivX Plus Converter window by clicking on it in the "Add Files" window, then clicking on "OK."

    Click "Add Files" again. Add the .SRT subtitles file you want to convert to the DivX Plus Converter window by clicking on it in the "Add Files" window followed by clicking on "OK."

    Check the "Combine All Videos into One File" option. This will permanently attach the subtitles file to the video file when the conversion process takes place.

    Click "Start." Your subtitles file, along with the video file that it is associated with, will be converted into the DivX AVI file format.
