How to Add External Email Addresses to a Global Address List

The Global Address List (GAL) contains a list of all the users that are registered and authorised to use your company's Exchange server and Outlook e-mail client. The Global Address List is a great way to find an employee in your company and at the same time, know his contact details. You can add new external contacts to the GAL using your Outlook e-mail client.

    Launch Outlook e-mail client from the Start menu.

    Click on "Contacts" located on the left-hand side of the main window. Click to choose "Global Address List."

    Hit "New." Fill in contact details like full name, address, phone number, e-mail address, department, etc.

    Hit "Save."
