How to Make Fake Wine

Updated February 21, 2017

If you are planning a wine tasting, get-together or celebration, you may want to include wine on the drink menu. Not everyone drinks alcoholic beverages, though, including any children or even adults with medical restrictions on the guest list. Make fake wine to include those who do not drink alcohol so everyone can participate in the toast and still feel part of the party.

Pour 4 cups of grape juice (white or red), 4 cups of lemon-lime soda and 2 tsp of lemon juice into a large pitcher.

Stir the contents of the pitcher to blend the ingredients.

Pour the fake wine into a glass carafe and rest it in an ice bucket to keep it chilled. Serve it in wine glasses.

Fill a large pitcher halfway with ice.

Pour 5 cups of red grape juice and 3 cups of apple juice into the pitcher.

Stir the contents together and serve in wine glasses.
