Stand normally and then lift your right leg up and at a 90-degree angle, with your knee bent as if going into a run step. As you kick your right leg up, slide your left leg back a little.
Bring your right foot down to its original position, but as you bring your right leg down, slide your left leg back farther so that when your right leg hits the ground you're in a running position.
Bring your left leg up as you did your right leg, but this time slide your right leg back a bit and then bring your left leg down. While doing this, slide your right leg back farther and into the running position.
Alternate legs so it looks like you’re running in place but in a shuffled manner where only one leg leaves the ground at any given time.
Stand bent at the knees, with your heels shoulder-width apart and your feet pointing away from your body at a 45-degree angle, as if in the middle of a squat.
Slide your right leg closer to your left leg and lift your upper body up as you do so.
Swing your feet in from a 45-degree angle to a 90-degree angle as your right leg gets closer to your left leg.
Kick the left leg back out and push your body down back to the squatting position and swing your feet back to the 45-degree angle as you do this. You should end up a few inches from where you started.
Repeat the entire process, sliding from one end of the floor to another without ever actually lifting more than one leg at any given moment.
Lift up your left leg with your knee bent at a 45-degree angle away from your body.
Kick your left leg out, and as you do so pivot on your right heel.
Repeat these steps, pivoting as you kick, until you’ve come full circle.
