How to Repair a Sony Walkman

    Connect the Walkman to the computer using the Walkman's USB cable.

    Click the blue circle in the bottom-left corner of the screen. Click "Control Panel."

    Go to "System and Security." Click the "Administrative Tools" icon. Double-click "Computer Management."

    Click "Disk Management" in the left panel. Right-click the Walkman in the right panel. Choose "Format."

    Click the "Format" button.

  • Store the Sony Walkman away from direct sunlight. Direct sunlight can corrupt the Walkman's hard drive.
