When your favourite white T-shirt has a print on the front, no matter how small the print, you must treat the shirt and the stains on the shirt as if the entire shirt was the colour of the print. Use supplies from home and the store to effectively remove stains from your white T-shirt with print. Bleaching methods that are effective for other white shirts will end up causing the print on your shirt to fade.
Place your white T-shirt on a clean towel with the stain facing upward. Scrape any stain substance off your white T-shirt with a spoon, then discard the substance.
Rinse your white T-shirt with cold water to remove any loose stain particles.
Make a stain-removing paste with equal parts of powdered all-fabric bleach and water. Apply the paste to the stain on your white T-shirt with print using an old toothbrush. Gently scrub the paste into the stain, then allow it to sit for 15 minutes.
Rub the fabric together on your white T-shirt to work the all-fabric bleach paste into the stain. Rinse with cool water. Launder your white T-shirt in cold water using the directed amount of enzyme washing powder to further loosen any traces of stain, as well as more all-fabric bleach.
Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into your wash machine's rinse cycle to brighten the colourful print and whiten your white T-shirt.
Check your white T-shirt before placing it in the dryer to make sure the stain is fully removed. Any traces of stain left will be set by the heat of the dryer.
Treat stains as quickly as possible for the easiest removal. Some stains can be quickly removed by blotting them with cool water, followed by a dry towel.
Avoid the temptation to use bleach on a stubborn stain on your printed white T-shirt. Simply repeat the above stain removal steps several times.
