Using horse shampoo to achieve longer hair is a clever trick but not in the way that you'd think. While using the shampoo doesn't literally cause your hair to grow faster, it does greatly improve the health of your hair and supports strong hair growth, giving off the effect that the hair is growing faster. If you combine a few simple tricks while using the horse shampoo, you can achieve longer, thicker hair before you know it.

  1. 1

Rub a dollop of horse shampoo over your head while you are in the shower, using your finger pads to massage the shampoo into your scalp with circular motions. Rinse thoroughly.

  2. 2

Apply deep conditioner into your hair and allow it to rest for at least 3 minutes before rinsing it away. The conditioner will soften your hair, which is useful because the horse shampoo plumps your hair and can cause it to feel a little coarse.

  3. 3

Squeeze out all excess moisture from your hair using a towel. Do not rub the hair because doing so can snag and cause broken ends, which makes faster hair growth more difficult.

  4. 4

Run a boar bristle brush through your hair to remove any tangles. Boar bristle brushes are made to support healthy hair growth and will distribute your hair's natural oils evenly throughout each strand, which will make a huge difference when combined with the effects of the horse shampoo.
